Here's an exercise that will help you work on finger independence as well as hammer-ons and pull-offs.
It's also a chance to practice the first shape of the A minor pentatonic scale, for those who haven't tackled it yet.
Once mastered, played cleanly and at a good tempo, this little lick will have its place in your solos.
As usual, the metronome is mandatory.
