Scale

Minor pentatonic scale - Pull-off - Joe Bonamassa

Difficulty :  |  Recommended tempo: 70 bpm  |  Author : deus400

Instructions

Here's an exercise on the minor pentatonic scale in the key of D, inspired by Joe Bonamassa.

It fits perfectly as an accompaniment to the great Freddie King's "Going Down" (Joe Bonamassa version).

As usual, practicing with the metronome is mandatory, and you should also make sure to perform the pull-offs so that each note clearly separates from the others.

Exercice 1

Start slowly (50 or 60 bpm) and only increase speed once you're making no mistakes. The target tempo will depend on your motivation!
