Triads of the harmonized C and G major scales

Here's an exercise that will let you learn triads and connect them to the major and minor chord shapes on the fifth and sixth strings, while also learning the fretboard by visualizing where the roots, major thirds and fifths sit relative to each other.

In practice, you'll play these sequences of triads taken from the harmonization of the C and G major scales.

• The chords from harmonizing the C major scale are: C - Dm - Em - F - G - Am - Bdim
• The chords from harmonizing the G major scale are: G - Am - Bm - C - D - Em - F#dim
  

Keep in mind that the lowest note is always the root, the second note is the third, and the third note is the fifth.
