Here are a few examples of turnarounds that will help spice up your blues with a more musical, professional touch.
As a reminder, turnarounds are sequences played over the last bars of a blues chart (typically 12 bars) to close it out and allow it to repeat.
Turnarounds are often built starting from the minor seventh down to the fifth, usually passing through chromatic notes, but there's no fixed rule.
My advice is to practice and learn them, then try to place them while improvising over a backing track like this one, to get a feel for when to play them:
